Meet Dyson, a Tasmania-born Aussie and passionate car enthusiast, who has been captivated by cars ever since his first ride in a 600hp Toyota Supra thirteen years ago. That exhilarating ride ignited a love for cars that remains as strong today as ever.
At just 20 years old, Dyson seized the opportunity to work for a startup dealership in Christchurch, New Zealand. Starting with only 5-10 cars and as the sole employee, he skillfully managed the business, which quickly grew to stock over 150 vehicles. His dedication paid off, with the dealership amassing over 150 five-star reviews during his two-year tenure.
After taking a brief break to explore the finance side of car sales and becoming a finance broker, Dyson partnered with two others to establish a dealership in Christchurch. Beginning as a modest 3-4 car backyard dealer, the business rapidly evolved into a specialized JDM & Euro car dealership. Over the past five years, it has grown steadily, earning more than 150 five-star reviews and countless satisfied customers.
After nearly five years in the industry, Dyson made the decision to return to Australia to be closer to his family. During this time, he recognized a high demand for JDM & exotic cars in Australia and a substantial price difference between landed and sales prices. Leveraging his experience importing vehicles from Japan to New Zealand, he utilized his contacts and expertise to establish Prestige Car Imports.
Today, Dyson’s mission is to help Australians purchase vehicles from around the world, ensuring access to the finest JDM & exotic cars at excellent prices. With his knowledge and passion for cars, he aims to deliver exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to all his customers.
